\"\"[2019-09-17 TELL] \u201eWir wollen auf Abschlussfahrt dahin, wo wir noch nie waren!\u201c, so lautete der Beschluss von 61 Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern der Q2. Als Reiseziel war Glasgow schnell gefunden \u2013 eine goldrichtige Entscheidung!
\nDie erste neue Erfahrung wurde schon nach wenigen Stunden gemacht: Mit der Nachtf\u00e4hre fuhren wir von Amsterdam nach Newcastle. Hier stellte sich bei einigen das ultimative Titanicgef\u00fchl ein: Klassen und Jugendgruppen wurden ganz unten in der F\u00e4hre untergebracht, noch unter dem Autodeck. Auf den oberen Decks gab es jedoch Restaurants und andere Etablissements, so dass es nicht langweilig wurde, und\u00a0 besonders als eine Sch\u00fclergruppe beim Musikquizz den ersten Preis einstreichen konnte war die Stimmung bestens!
\nAuf dem Weg nach Glasgow haben wir bei Regen den Hadrians Wall gesucht (der sich als niedrige Mauer heraus stellte) und sind ein kleines St\u00fcck auf der Grenze zwischen England und Schottland entlang gewandert.
\nGlasgow hat uns alle beeindruckt: Kathedralen, alte Friedh\u00f6fe mit faszinierenden Gruften, kostenlose Museen und nicht zuletzt Musikpubs, in denen wir die Tage ausklingen lassen konnten.
\nEinen Tag haben wir in Edinburgh verbracht, wobei die Touristenmassen auf dem Edinburgh Castle doch sehr an Schloss Neuschwanstein erinnert haben. Richtig begeistert hat uns die Stadt dann doch, als wir eine F\u00fchrung durch die \u201eNew Town\u201c hatten.\"\"<\/p>\n

Die Highlands waren ein H\u00f6hepunkt der Reise, obwohl es erst wieder wie aus Eimern regnete. Im Glencoe Valley angekommen schien aber die Sonne und wir sahen eine unglaubliche Landschaft, die mit nichts zu vergleichen ist. Auch wenn sich alle nasse F\u00fc\u00dfe geholt haben, weil das Wasser auf den Wiesen stand, waren wir v\u00f6llig begeistert.
\nZum Schluss stand der Besuch von Alnwick Castle auf dem Programm, ein absolutes Muss f\u00fcr Cineasten und Netflixj\u00fcnger, denn dort wurden die Au\u00dfenaufnahmen von Harry Potter und die Innenaufnahmen von Downton Abbey gedreht.<\/p>\n

Als wir auf der R\u00fcckfahrt wieder auf der F\u00e4hre zusammen sa\u00dfen, waren sich alle einig: Ja, es hat andauernd geregnet und 14-Bett-Zimmer (ohne Fenster!) im Hostel sind eine Zumutung, aber wir haben unglaublich viel gesehen und vor allem waren wir eine super Gemeinschaft, die sich durch Freundlichkeit, Toleranz und Humor ausgezeichnet hat.
